Photography is my passion and is something that I have been pursuing for the last 6 years and plan on continuing with photography for the rest of my life. I have 3 years of experience of traditional and digital photography from Nevada Union High School along with several semesters of Digital Imaging and design at Sierra College. It had been my pleasure to complete 5 full length series this past year, as well as having my first show of work.

"Strangelund", my first show of work, was a series of 30 abstract composite portraits. Influenced by ocean and plant life intertwining with human life, I started the project in October of 2008 and finished in March 2009 with several prints sold and some experience.

I continue to work on my photography, and have several new projects up my sleeve! The lastest project, "Sub_" was finished Spring semester '10 at Sierra College. A book containing 20 hand crafted pages tells a story of what is underneath and above. Traditional darkroom techniques are used to create composites inside the enlarger. I will be adding its pages to the photography section soon.

Photography, in all of its forms, has so many different aspects to learn about it, and as I learn, I know that I will never finish learning. But, that's just ok with me.

For me, design and photography go hand in hand. I enjoy working in traditional photography, but adding the element of composites and design makes my pieces special. Design is something that can make our lives more interesting, or concepts more complex or simple.

I am still currently at Sierra College for Fall, Spring and Summer semester till 2011. After, I am hoping to be admitted to Sac State to achieve a BS in Design. After the end of my stay at Sierra College, I will have my A.A. in Business Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts!
